Importing Mesh from Maya into Unity Issues
Whenever I try to import my mesh into Unity, nothing appears on the screen when I pull the object into the scene view. I've tried importing it in various different formats (e.g. .ma, .mb, and .fbx), but nothing seems to work. I ran a test object (a basic polygon cube) from Maya into Unity and everything worked fine, so I think it has something to do with the model itself. I used nurbs spheres in the construction of the model and used a soft modification tool on it. I also parents and grouped the object to try and get it to import.
