Unity loading scenes quickly initially, but after a short while it's unresponsive after loading for a short while
So Unity (after a fresh system boot) works as expected. You make a small change to code (or no change at all) and press play only to wait about 10 seconds before unity unfreezes. This is only solved with a system reboot, reinstalling Unity doesn't work. I'm running Unity 2017.1.0p4. No idea what it could be. This affects every project I have throughout any scene no matter the content (even empty scenes).
I'd also like to add that leaving it alone for a $$anonymous$$ute or so will also cause it to be frozen for a few seconds despite there being no scripts that run after initial start.
