Firefox 18 and Unity don´t work anymore...
Hi,
i´ve just updated my firefox browser to the latest version 18 on my Mac with the latest OSX installed. After that i visited Unity webplayer. Since then its hanging and doesn´t react anymore. I already deleted the firefox cache and restart the browser - some problem.
Are there any further information about that? Anyone who can reproduce the same issue? Thank you
I have no problem with Firefox 18 on Win7 x64. Try to restart everything, including OSX. It helps on Windows :D If no luck, use Chrome!
I had the same problem. Reboot has not helped. $$anonymous$$ac OSX 10.6.8.
Ditto, same problem here.
Using OSX $$anonymous$$ountain Lion + Firefox 18
Attempting to load ANY browser page with Unity Player on it causes Firefox to lock up. The only way to get out is to force quit Firefox.

Hi all,
This is fixed already and released to the world earlier today, you can get the fix in the latest 4.0.1f2 plugin version here: http://unity3d.com/webplayer
Thanks, Chris
The problem there is that the download page appears to require the plugin - which triggers the bug, freezing firefox. I had to switch to Chrome to get the plugin to download properly.
Yeah it's the version checker which requires the plugin, unfortunately, both the download and version checker is on the same page, users will need to launch a different browser to download the plugin.

At one point my web player stopped working in Firefox. I had to uninstall both FF and the web player, then reinstall first FireFox, then the player, and it worked after that.
