What format should I use for 3d assets? OBJ or FBX
Basically there will be two types of imported assets:
Static: I will be exporting world sections, zone and other static assets into unity, once inside unity Im planning to user Beast Lightmapping engine.
Dynamic: Characters with bone systems and things that are meant to deform dynamically.
Maybe is better to have obj for one type and fbx for the other, or perhaps one is better than the other. Please share with me your opinion/knowledge. Thanks!

AFAIK OBJ does not support any type of hierarchy let alone animation. FBX is the better bet probably for both, unless you need to interchange the files to other programs. Not everything imports FBX but most import OBJ.
