Computer stops working when Unity Web Player is installed!
When I install Unity web player, my computer crashes and won't boot. It won't work until the hard drive is erased. I've installed Unity web player twice, and both times I've lost everything on my computer. I use Unity a lot, and I don't have any problems except for sometimes I have compiler errors, and I need to delete my whole project because of them. The computer model is HP G62. I can give you the specifications if you need them.
Thanks for helping!
This is almost certainly a driver or hardware failure. Unity could not do this, although I virus might corrupt your hard drive. If it happens again look for a dmp file if you're getting a BSOD. You can google dmp and BSOd for more details.

How will I boot the PC to see the dump file? It won't boot after the Unity Web Player is installed.
You should add comments not answers of you can. If the machine fails after installing the web player I would suggest checking the drive's health. This failure is really beyond the scope of Unity answers as it is your environment, your machine's hardware or installed state that will be doing this.
Are you installing a download that came directly from Unity?
No. I install it from the Unity website. I'll try your suggestions.
