Preventing Unity from generating Xcode project everytime?
Hi,
Is there anyway to prevent Unity from making an Xcode project everytime you build? Because I set some changes in Xcode project and it gets overwritten everytime I build and have to manually redo all those changes.
Thanks.
What are the XCode changes? You may be able to work around the issue by having Unity apply the changes, rather than having them in XCode.
1) Prevention of xcode generating dSym.
2) Some changes in Appcontroller.mm for testflight's SD$$anonymous$$.
3) some changes in input behavior that we can set in appcontroller and it's rates.
You can generate an other xcode project and then only copy the folder Data and Libraries from this project to your original project. It's a boring way but it works.

Hi The most elegant way is to write a PostBuildProcess script that can modify xcode project settings and Appcontroller.mm etc There are plenty of such examples on github and I also used on here in Python https://github.com/faizann/UnityGPGPlugin/tree/master/Assets/Editor
