How do I change the model for the third person controller?
I was experimenting with my character but I just can't get any animations for my First person controller so I tried with the third person controller but its just that default model guy construction worker person so I began wondering..."How can I change the model for the third person controller?" I searched on youtube, google a ton of places but then I came here so I was wondering if someone could help me with this.

@merlinwoff What do you mean? Should work fine. Just drag the mesh from your project window into the $$anonymous$$esh setting in Skinned $$anonymous$$esh Renderer, as shown in the picture above.
This doesn't seem to work. The mesh changes, sure. But it doesn't recognize the skeleton. The character moves around overall as a whole but the bones have no effect, as if the character were not skinned, and the model was drawn with a simple $$anonymous$$eshRenderer ins$$anonymous$$d.
Both skeletons are hierarchically identical, in both name and structure. Doing a side-by-side comparison reveals no difference.
I have the same issue. I downloaded a horse animation and want to use it ins$$anonymous$$d of the construction worker.
I see "animation" under "transform" for the construction worker. I don't see any 'skinned mesh renderer.'
