imported model changing position on pressing play problem
i have made a little model and textured it in blender .. when i put it into the scene and press play it instantly teleports to a different position i think its going to 0,0,0 , anyone know why this is happening and how i can stop it?.. if i add it to a child of a cube with my player script it does not change position and stays where its told.. thanks!

It might have an Animation associated with it, check the Import settings for the mesh.
I'm new to unity, and I have the exact same problem except I want to keep my animation looping:). I have an animation attached to a mesh and whenever I hit play, it "teleports" to coordinates (0,0,0) in world view. I want to change this to coordinates I want to set! Any suggestions? I've tried parenting the mesh to an empty game object, no avail. Thanks
