Oculus touch controller tracking lag in headset only
I have a Rift S and I'm using the assets from the Oculus Integration asset store (v 1.40) package.
I've built a scene using the OVRCameraRig, CustomHandLeft and CustomHandRight prefabs. The prefabs are nested under a parent (empty) GameObject. It works.
However, when I add a script that moves the parent GameObject (right now totally independent of the controllers, just transform.Translate(0,0,0.1f); on the parent GameObject), there is suddenly a very long lag in the positioning of the controllers (like 10-30 seconds). BUT, I only see this lag in the headset - there is no lag on the display. AND, the animations on the controllers (the finger motions which correspond to button presses) also do not lag. They respond immediately, even if the controller has been frozen in the wrong place for several seconds.
I don't even know where to begin troubleshooting this...
