Vary particle rate using speed
How do I change a particle system's emission rate based on the object's speed? I have a spaceship made of 5 separate meshes, one of which emits particles. Their parent object has a rigidbody component.

Not sure what part of this problem you are having trouble with. 'rigidbody.velocity.magnitude' is the speed of your ship. That value times some factor will be the emission rate. $$anonymous$$aking this work will require you to understand how to access scripts between game objects:
