Model Structure for game
What model structure would be better?, if my game has many characters and they have character customisation functionality and load customised character in game.
All the customisable parts inside the model itself. This is a very poor practice. There would be no room for future additions. Plus it’d take a lot of memory just to load one model
All the parts will have separate fbx files. They can be attached to the respective bones at runtime. This will be ideal for asset-bundle support as well, if required later.
