Changing HDR for emission light via inspector
Hello,
The HDR colour of my sword changes as appropriate in the inspector while the game is not running. However, if I change it during runtime through the inspector, nothing happens. As a result of this, I am unable to change it through a script as well. The script tries changing it to red, and it looks like something happens in the inspector but there is NO update to the material itself.
I have been trying for basically 2 entire days for hours and I feel like I have had enough of this problem. Any guidance would really be appreciated.
I've tried accessing this material using material.SetColor("_EmissionColor", col) and material.SetColor("_EMISSION", col) as well. I've tried using sharedMaterial but that changes it permanently in the files (not what I want).
