Can't Drag and Drop Anything Into the Scene View!!

Hello everyone,

I have encountered a rather annoying bug. I can't seem to drag anything from the project folder into the scene as I could before.

I can, however, manipulate items already in the scene view, and add objects to the hierarchy the long-winded way, but this isn't how I prefer to use the program and I'm beginning to get frustrated.

Any advice?
