Unity Scene Camera Movement Default Speed

Building a 200000 uu map and found unity's terrain editor to be acceptable for this task. When doing so there is a lot of moving here and there for this detail and that. Aware of WASD, Shift, both types of mouse zoom, object focus, and patience derived 10 seconds later camera acceleration. Is there any other way to change the default camera speed in the unity scene editor?

I have 100,000 changes to make to my map's terrain, and must do any one of these motions 100,000 times to speed up a camera that by default resets each time to a speed that is unacceptable, each time i must constantly increase the speed of a far too slow camera. how many days will i lose to this single lethargic viewpoint? 11 days and 16 hours. Or 1 hour a day over the next 56 weeks of work.

Could we get a camera tab in preferences... 'scene camera default speed' = 1-10000. We're not all building worms inside of apples here. Some of us use your world editor to build worlds.
