Mesh Render Texture Blurry

Hello, I have two meshes, completely identical identical: MESH RENDERER and both Sprite/Default shader.

One has a 1024*1024 texture. the other one is 512*512.

I don't understand why the 512*512 is blurry!

Both same setting. even if i scale it down, it is always blurry.

Please I am getting crazy with this. I have tried with other filter mode and everything nothing works. I get angry because they have both same settings! Please help! alt text

It seems to be a problem with the source image dude, have you compressed it in other program?

Hey, as I wrote above I said I tried all the possibile Filter mode, and the problem is always there as I said.!

You can try yourself with anything, create two cubes and put two different size textures on them( one 1024*1024 and the other 512*512) , you will see the problem is still there, the 512 is blurry !! No, it's not a problem of the program I have used for compression.

I tried both:

1) simply forcing in unity the max size to 512*512 on a duplicate of the 1024*1024 texture file

2) creating a separate file with photoshop of size 512*512. BOTH $$anonymous$$ETHODS, same result, always blurry. Try yourself with a sample scene, also other friends of $$anonymous$$e experience the same problem!!

Hi, It seems like no texture filtering is applied to the 512x512 texture. Try changing the 'Filter Mode' on that texture to 'Bilinear' just like the other one.
