3ds max fbx wrong smooth group and uv's

hello, currently working on game for school and im trying to import a fbx model into unity from 3ds max but when i do this i lose the smoothing group which basically is messing up the UVs somehow which is causing texture to do weird things. I did change the normals in unity to calculate which fixes the smooth problem but still doesnt fix the texture problem. in 3ds max everything is just fine and textures show up correctly. not sure what the problem is first 2 images are with unitys object normals on import second 2 are with the normals to calculate and last one is in 3ds max on how it is supposed to look like http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag156/nova00971/Capture_zpsbx1xaonv.png http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag156/nova00971/Capture02_zps5kohump2.png http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag156/nova00971/Capture03_zpsxocq8aaj.png http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag156/nova00971/Capture04_zpsumpx2oeu.png http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag156/nova00971/Capture05_zpsprmfybz9.png
