Force 16:9 aspect ratio and fullscreen in Windows
I would like to force my (3D) game to open in Windows fullscreen and the game to play at 16:9 ratio, no matter the screen res and aspect ratio of the user's monitor. I've tried the Player settings in Unity (5.0.0) and tested the AspectUtility.cs old and new versions from Wiki, and read many posts - but nothing quite works. If I change the screen res then re-run the exe, the game is either squashed or stretched - even setting a 1600x900 res squashes the game vertically. (I always delete the relevant player prefs from the registry before each run.) Is this possible? I can't believe that this isn't a basic feature of a serious game engine - so am I missing something? Thank you for any help...
