Missing a metadata file
So I have been running in to a bug that has prevented me from compiling my code.
Severity Code Description Project File Line Suppression State Error Metadata file 'C:\Users\marcus\Downloads\Dungeon Project 4\Temp\UnityVS_bin\Debug\Assembly-CSharp.dll' could not be found
This error has been occuring at seemingly random times. Is there any reason for this or is there any way to fix this?
Last time I checked, your Temp folder isn't even needed. Neither is your Library folder if you have public metadata files. I'd create a backup of your project and delete the folder. Unity should automatically regenerate anything that you deleted that isn't needed.
And as far as I know, if you have public metadata, you only need your ProjectSettings folder and your Assets folder. But don't hold me accountable for that, I'd look into it.
