Smooth vector movement between Player Inputs?,Smooth movement between PlayerInput Vector.
This may be a little hard to explain, but I'm making a game where movement is applying force to a marble. I don't want the force to be sudden, so I want to smooth between the vectors given from pressing left, right, up and down.
Using the Input System, my movement is a Vector2 for left, right, forward and backward. But, I want it so that, for example, if I change from pressing right, to pressing forward, the Vector doesn't instantly change to forward, but rather "slides" towards that new vector.
My previous solution was with Vector2.SmoothDamp, by using the vector itself as the origin point. This worked, but created an endless loop where it never actaully got to the end point, so I was wondering if there was a better way?
