Load resource file at runtime
Hey there!
For multilanguage support in the game, my team and I developing I implemented the microsoft satellite library way of loading specific texts in a specific language by a text ID at runtime.
It works perfect in test mode on the PC/Mac, but natively on an iOS device, it does not.
I have 3 language files which are stored within Assets/Language:
resource.de-DE.resources
resource.en-GB.resources
resource.ru-RU.resources
The resourcemanager which I developed getting the device language and loading the specific resource at runtime. As I said ... in Unity on the developer PC or Mac, it works as expected ... but it ain´t working neither on my iPhone, nor my iPad.
From googling I found out, that it has something to do with the path of the resource files, as the resourcemanager is loading them from Assets/Language ... which might not be available in that form at iOS I guess.
Do you guys have any hint, which path I should give the resourcemanager to get the files from at runtime?
Best regards,
