Terrain or Cube?
Hey guys,
I'm making a city for my game, and I was wondering if it would be a better idea to make it using the terrain tool, or by just making the ground out of cubes?
I started doing it with cubes, cause I thought it would be a better idea for such a small area, but as I got into it, my city started becoming more and more complex (of course). By complex, I mostly mean i'm using multiple textures on my floor, and expanding the city into multiple "sections".
It's not quite "open world" in my city, as right now I have fixed cameras on the player; But I might change it back to third person, I haven't decided.
I was thinking a terrain might be a better choice, just cause then I could blend my textures and play a little but more around with having hills within my city, or cliffs even.
what do you guys think?
Thanks!
