Unity-5 light map not getting through perforce version control

I am using unity 5.3.1. In the same project I am baking the light-maps and committing through Perforce (P4) client , in my project/Local Project the light-map looks fine but in others, after getting the update issue of stretching meshes due to light-map is coming until the light-map is baked locally again. is this stretching mesh issue is a light-map baking issue or is it a perforce issue as the baking information is getting lost?

solution, "use subversion". proprietary version control is just too weird.

I guess it's officially recommended http://docs.unity3d.com/$$anonymous$$anual/Versioncontrolintegration.html and I didn't take a risk and use Git for just code :)

Fair enough, it seems like a bad idea to me. "subversion" is really the best for unity. git is awesome and all but it's really only for text not storing large binary files you probably agree; also you can't easily have empty folders etc etc. In any event subversion svn works perfectly and i'd say it's the most common at studios when you do jobs etc. in any event .. none of this helps you, sorry! :/ seasons greets ..
