use gui. that should get you started. after that add a timer to show that only for few seconds or $$anonymous$$utes, and then switch the gui with another one. hope this will give you a basic idea.

search for gui and other stuff on google and start learning javascript.

thank you very much guys for your reply i really2 appreciate that.. but how can i animate the switching of GUI layer or texture into another one. or how can i show the following dance step then go to the top of layer and destroy it after a few sec.

@benjoevidal22 That is a rather large question. You can do anything with the textures for a GUI that you could with textures for anything else. Forget that its for a GUI, how would you do what you wanted normally? No one can just write out for you how to make a complex dance menu system.

you can use fadein or fadeout easing type and use timer, ins$$anonymous$$d of waiting for others to write a code for you search some other threads on gui, fade and easing, image switching etc. hope you will find your solution.

GUI is very cumbersome and slow. Instead, use a camera and textures to draw the stuff to the screen.

For instance, you can put a camera in your scene set to only draw a GUI layer. Then you can add your textures to that layer. Set your other cameras to draw everything but the GUI layer. This way you can have rich GUIs without the performance impact of the Unity GUI system.

@killer_zog javascript itself should not be required. This can also work with C# or without any code at all.
