Successful get nice illuminated textured model from Cinema 4D
Hi, I'm deeply sorry that I didn't get result by reading similar posts. I'm using Cinema 4D R14. I made Door model with stairs and some illuminated lamps. I put for the door wall and stair floor just basic material with custom texture. In those textures "Projection" I switched "CUBIC" mode instead of default UVW Mapping that to get nice texture set. For lamp models I put just material and clicked "illuminance" that to get brightly light effect. In render settings I turned on "Global Illuminance" effect. Render result was perfect. Than I baked all objects turned on in bake settings 1)Ambient Occlusion, 2)Illuminate, 3)Replace Objects. Than made Bake. After baking I turned off "Global Illumination" i render settings. But the result was very bad. I got strange black spots in Door Wall and Stair floor textures, also the textures looks dirty. very bad (I don't know how to describe). I would like to put result images here but it seems me there is no option. I followed this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsSxUSvdrgg. Watched 10 or 15 times to be sure that I'm doing exactly what he did. Maybe I'm missing something. Ah yes. how was showed in tutorial I have baked twice and save for different folder imported into unity second result bake textures and finally FBX. I have illuminance, I have correct set texture, but that black spots and dirty effects still present. hope here I'll have solution, thanks for taking time and reading) I just wanted to be sure that I have explained correctly.
