Any plans for 3D mouse support?

A while back my girlfriend got me a 3D mouse because i was really getting into blender but since then i find myself only working the technical side. like scripting and level design. (friends of mine are much more artistically inclined, so ive been leaving that to them) i was hoping that the upgrade to unity 5 would integrate 3D mouse support but to no avail. i know theres a third party plugin but ive found its just not that reliable.

does anyone know if there are any future plans for native support to be added? i mean 3D Connexion has there software available to any company who wants to add it in for free. so i see no reason why unity wouldnt do it.
