Model rotations are locked
I've imported a model .fbx (and the same model in other formats) and components of the model cannot be rotated in the scene at all. I have a wheel on a bike model which I want to rotate via a script. The rotation is locked for some reason between 90 and 270 degrees (the rot is not locked when the scene isn't running).
I've tried several models with several different formats and the rotation is always locked. Also I've tried enabling read/write in the unity settings for this model and no effect.
Why is this and how do I got about fixing it?

I managed to solve this. It seems that enabling read / write did do the trick but you have to restart Unity before it takes affect. No idea why or how this works. If anyone understand's the reasoning behind my problem I would still like to know.
