Performance/Quality Issue on Moving lights
Hi!
Currently I'm making a glowing orb that floats around and is supposed to emit light in the dark. Currently it looks something like this:
But given the complexity of the scene, I've been met with issues after trying the following:
Real-time point light, no baked lightmaps -> lags sometimes
Real-time point light, baked lightmaps -> the light stays static on the ground, feels unconnected
Currently I'm trying to use mixed point light with a light probe group, but in the manual they've only mentioned that light probe groups work for a static light and moving objects; it mentioned nothing about a moving light.
My goal is to find a way that would look realistic while not giving up to much performance. Thanks!
