How to make rounded edge voxel cubes for a mapeditor
I'm trying to make a voxel map editor using voxel cubes, however I don't know where to start I've tried looking up tutorials with no luck. By the way I want the cubes edges to be rounded to give a less blocky look. Thank you for your help.
This is not as easy as you expect... Google for "marching cubes". Good luck!

I just remembered that I had created a mesh smoothing script, you can create your voxel rendering engine with cubes, then make my simple script process your mesh.
Time complexity: O(n2)
This script has been projected to process meshes during preload, executing during runtime may slow down a lot; Anyway you can code better versions with ease. [1]: /storage/temp/6460-meshsmoother.zip
This is cool but very slow for my needs. Thank you though.

An answer specific to the title only, just make a cube in your favorite 3D tool, round the edges, and export. Then use that model for your cubes.
So if I make a voxel engine it will adapt to the new mesh?
It's all up to you to write all the code. Let us know how it goes!
