How do I apply a custom collision mesh?
Hi guys, I have an object that represents a collision mesh, and another object where i want to apply that collision mesh instead of the generated/calculated one.
So i created both objects, and in the target object that i want to apply the mesh i've created a Mesh collider:

Then i've tested it, everything works fine because he calculated stuff correctly, but now i want to replace my current collider mesh with the one i created, so i go to the Select Mesh window, but the problem is that my object that would serve as collision mesh doesn't appear in the list......

What should i do now? Thanks!

Create two seperate game objects.
One with a Mesh Renderer that shows your object.
And another game object that has no mesh renderer, but has your mesh collider. (You can turn on the mesh renderer for placement purposes), but you will turn it off again.
Thanks for helping!
That works for static objects, but what if my target object moves in the screen? The mesh collider must move with it, how can i do that?
$$anonymous$$ake the mesh collider game object a child of the other game object.
Ah, cool! Thanks guys!
Ps. Excelent support here! Very fast and accurate answers! :)
