Can you import maya models, cameras and animation into Unity Personal edition?,Can you import Maya models into Unity Personal edition?
I work primarily in Maya and was thinking of exploring Unity. I just wanted to know if I can use the Personal Edition to import Maya models, cameras and animations? Also, is it essential to have programming skills to use unity in this way?,I'd like to have a play with Unity and Maya but was wondering if it's possible to import maya models and animations into unity Personal edition?

Yes, of course you can.
Just export your project from Maya and put it in the folder of Unity. Should work.

Yes you can import Maya models and animations into Unity Personal edition. I don't think you can import cameras from Maya, just use the ones in Unity. Here is a link to the Unity docs on Maya. https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/HOWTO-ImportObjectMaya.html
Hope that helps! :)

Thanks guys. I will give it a go although not being able to import cameras from Maya cancels out what I wanted to do.
You should add comments ins$$anonymous$$d of answers to say stuff like that. Just a tip :)
