Maya 2016 to Unity 5 Units & Scale
I'm exporting via FBX with these settings from maya 2016 to unity 5 The scale factor & file scale import are correct but when the imported object is dropped into the scene the scale in the inspector reads 0.01 for X,Y,Z.
This actually seem to be the correct scale as its the same size a a 3d cube created from within unity. So my question is why is it show 0.01? I've just watch a digital tutorial with a max unity pipeline uses the exact same export settings with the same exporter plugin version.
Again scale factor & file scale import are correct but when the object is dropped into the scene the scale in the inspector reads 1 for X,Y,Z. which is what it should be. Why is this seemingly impossible to get the scales all as 1 from maya and be correct?
