When changing the SteamVR controller it becomes grey
Hello,
I'm trying to change the default SteamVR controller to one I created myself, the only difference between the default controller is that there will be a Play/Pause icon on the touchpad of the HTC VIve. I found out that the default model used for both the left and right controller is vr_controller_vive_1_5 (in the folder Steam - steamapps - common - SteamVR - resources - rendermodels), when I only change the texture I can see the Play/Pause icon on both controllers. However, I only want to see it on the right controller but when I copy the folder and change the name and set the model override in Unity to the one I just created it becomes grey. Does anyone know what the probelm is?
If I make no changes to the vr_controller_vive_1_5 and set he model override to vr_controller_vive_1_5 it becomes grey. So i guess it has something to do with the settings?
