I need help getting Unity on the PC
I have a question. I have been working on a game, and I'm working on it on a different cpu, but that's at my freind's house. When I downloaded it and did all the stuff I needed to do, I got it but at home I have Windows Vista, and when I downloaded it and I got to the internet activation it just keeps loading and loading. So really I'm asking does Unity work on Vista?
Despite what you may have heard, caps lock is not cruise control for cool. Also, you're not writing a text message, so there is no excuse for not using something resembling grammar. Take your time. Otherwise your writing looks like gibberish and not many people will bother reading it. I fixed it somewhat so it's at least intelligible.

This is a problem with the Unity Activation, not with Windows Vista.
Go back to the license screen, and choose manual activation. This will take you to the Unity website, where you can then obtain a license. (note: do NOT cancel the page loading when the Unity website is loading)
If you have any further problems, contact Unity support at support@unity3d.com.
i did what you said but it brings me a window error do you know why
Could you state what the error said, please? Otherwise I cannot help you.
here is the link it took me to http://shell.windows.com/fileassoc/0409/xml/redir.asp?EXT=ilf
Windows usually takes you to this page if you click on a file, and you don't have a program that can open it. Was this the file you downloaded which contains your Unity license? If so, I believe there is an option in the Unity Activation window (under $$anonymous$$anual Activation) which allows you to select a file containing your unique license to activate your copy of Unity.
