I need your help to make procedural floating islands!
I am working on a survival game set in a world of procedurally generated floating islands, the only issue is I haven't been able to figure out a good way to create the islands. I want to generate them at run time but I'm not sure how, I was thinking of using maybe 3d perlin noise with marching cubes but I'm not sure how efficient that would be and where to even start. I am wanting to try and create quite complex shapes and islands kind of like in the game worlds adrift, I'll attach some pictures of my ideas but if you have anything that could help I'd really appreciate it, thankyou :) (all pictures used are from the now shut down game worlds adrift, their island creator is still available on steam)
