Make UI image of compass rotate towards 3D object
Hi! I'm making a 3D third-person game to school and I need to create a compass.
Initially, I rotated the compass with the player, but my teacher recommended me to create a North so that if the player plays the game again, the North of the city is always in the same direction.
The compass is an image of the UI, and to mark the North, I created a 3D gameObject. But the problem is, I've already seen lots of tutorials, but they usually use the player's rotation to turn the compass, and I've also tried to change them and read a lot of documentation, but even so, I can't get it to work... Does anyone have an idea of how this could work?
