Creating Mesh for Video Texture
I'm relatively new to Unity and 3D design in general so sorry if this question is really basic. I'm trying to wrap a video texture around a cylinder only once, but the default cylinder mesh in Unity wraps the texture around twice, even when I change the settings.
So then I tried to create my own cylinder mesh using Blender, but after exporting to 3ds, the video texture won't show at all. And using another program, I get a mesh that wraps once, but the top 30-40% of the texture does not show. I think it wrapped to the top of the cylinder for some reason...Also the capsule mesh cuts off around 20% of the texture length wise.
Does anyone know the correct way to generate these meshes or has any insight at all? Would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
