Android Low FPS

Hello. I've been searching about this problem but I couldn't find anything useful. So the problem is, when I create a new project, new empty scene, set it up for Android and than just Build & Run it, i have maximum 18 FPS.. Without any game object in the scene! I tried to turn off Precomputed Realtime GI, doesn't really help. Am I missing something? Is there a tutorial how to properly set Unity for Android developement? Thanks

Have you turned off the procedural skybox? Try a solid color.

Yea, I tried it, I had about 40 fps.. But when I added some more basic cubes, it was low again..

Are you using OpenGl 2 or 3?

1)Set up an occlusion 2)merge textures to sprites 3) Run codes as less often as possible e.g use co routines 4)optimize meshes to low poly 5)Use LOD on dynamic objects 6) limit effects 7) limit semi-transparent objects

None of these are the problem. If you read the original post you will quickly notice that this is being reported on a blank/empty unity scene. No scripts, no assets, no optimizations to be made.

I presume you are using standart shader. Standart shader is not suitable for devices. Change material's shader to Legacy or Mobile and test again. Legacy shaders are more efficient for mobile devices.

thanks a lot! I just went nuts searching for the problem, everything from settings, models to coding was optimized for mobile, but the standard shader just killed it. using legacy now and everything's smooth :)

i have same problem on android Especially when battery is low ,may i know which legacy shaders you use , i use legacy shader for my sprite renderer and They make the object dark !!?

Thanks all for the reply.. I'm using Unity 5.1.1 personal version. So the problem was actually standart shader, as Avietry said... And also a skybox, even the original one on the main camera.. So thanks again :)
