Main UI canvas automatically resizes when scripts are edited
I'm so new to Unity that I don't even know the right questions to ask. My apologies if this is a silly question, or if it has been answered elsewhere.
I'm using nested canvases to create a mobile app UI. Everything is going pretty well, but just this morning, I've encountered a problem. For some reason, every single time I switch to Visual Studio, edit a script, save it, and navigate back to Unity, something resizes my main canvas when Unity refreshes after seeing the script changes. To make matters even more bizarre, if I plug in my phone and run the app through Unity Remote, poof the main UI canvas resizes back to the size that it originally was and should have been the whole time.
This began happening literally this morning, after working with this project for several months. Obviously, I did something, but I don't even know how to ask what I could have done. I don't even know what information could be helpful in diagnosing this problem, or else it'd be here already.
Anybody seen inexplicable weirdness like this before? Where do I even start?
Thank you!
