GUI.Button texture loses quality
Hello, I started to populate my UI with icons and encountered a problem.
I use GUI.Button as a holder, containing 2DTexture. It looks fine in the inspector, however it loses quality once it has been drawn in the game itself.
Default image size is 512x512 and it is drawn in the size 2/15 of the screen width.
I am attaching both inspector view and ingame image so you can see the problem.
What can I do to improve the quality of the icon? Thanks.
select on the texture in project view and see in your Inspector (import setting)... what is "texture type"??
have you set Texture Type = GUI
Look at the img1 that I've attached. Texture Type: GUI Filter $$anonymous$$ode: Bilinear $$anonymous$$ax Size: 512 Format: Truecolor
Attached to a variable of type Texture2D.

What is the size of the button? If it is significantly less than the original image's size it will degrade the quality, I have experienced it myself. Try matching the size of the button to the image.
