GUISkin hover not being applied immediately

Question

Hi everyone,

I'm having a small issue with a GUISkin button, I'm trying to apply two different images, one when its normal and a different one when hovering the mouse over. Right now it's working, but there's a delay when hovering over the texture and when moving the mouse out instead of applying the change immediately and, for example, if the mouse if moved quickly over the button it won't enter in the "hover" state.

Any ideas about why is this happening?

Edit: This is happening on a custom editor window.
