Android game does not start in new phone,game won't run in new android device
An apk that had worked on my old phone (not that old, from 2016) will not work on my new one (Mate 10, Android 8.0). I can install it, and no problem pops up, but when I try to open it, nothing. you mean the app is not even trying to open?
I don't know if that's even a unity problem, but to make sure and you're the dev (hopefully). create a development build and try to run that from build and run unity.
You can try updating your project by installing newer version of unity and then making a new apk through it.
