standaloneinput.getbuttontransform.rotatearound
Standalone build rotation shuddering with input button
Hi, I have a problem with a standalone build that has left me stumped. It works fine in the editor and on IOS and Android.The only problem is when building a standalone OS X player.
I have a rotating object that is controlled by the following part of a script ( in Update).
if (((Input.GetButton ("RotateLeft"))||(new Rect(Screen.width-Screen.height/xxx-Screen.width/yyy,Screen.width/yyy,Screen.height/xxx,Screen.height/xxx).Contains(Input.mousePosition)))&&(autoRotateGO==false)){
angle = -Time.deltaTime * 128;}
When the screen area contains the Input.MousePostion, the object rotates smoothly using:
transform.RotateAround (point, axis, angle);
However when I rotate it by pressing the Input.GetButton("RotateLeft"), it shudders on Rotation, as if it is missing a beat of input every so often. Its like intermittent input.
Which makes me think that the script is not the problem. I have played around with the Input Settings, but to no avail. What could the problem be?
