C++ backend, best architecture for pushing notifications to Unity
Hi,
What is the recommended approach to communicating from C++ backend to Unity for iOS and Android targets? A non-polled suggestion is favorable, but other solutions will do as well.
I was thinking networking and message queuing, but it also seems overkill and heavy somehow? Wonder why this is not baked in?
GameObject.SendMessage(..) is also mentioned elsewhere, but seems to come with performance penalties?
Could you point me to the source of a working solution?
