Set Animation Parameter on only one of many Prefab References in Editor

Hi, I have several references of a prefab in my scene. They have an attached animator with some animations set up. In the animator controller I have a parameter open, which runs the according animation to open/close the object. That works fine like that and I am able to change the state of each of the references like that on runtime of the game.

But I would like to change the parameter of some of the references in the editor already, so when the game starts some are open, some are closed. But I am only able to change the parameter for them all together in the editor. Why is that the case? Can I change that?

I thought about deleting the post after realizing how quite dumb the question is - but decided to answer myself: This would be only possible, if all References would indeed not be references but copies and each is having its own animator with its own animation controller. But nobody wants that. So I have to create a serialized variable that has the state of open set and then at runtime I can handle the starting state myself in code. Sorry for the question though ;)
