unity crashing on startup
my unity is crashing when i try to open it .
You'll need to provide more information so we can help: 1.what version are you running? 2.is it the Unity Hub That's crashing or the actual engine? 3.Is it crashing when trying to open a new project or an existing one? 4.What is the error message you are getting?
Thanks a lot for explaining i was having a hard time because of frustration. 1. i am using unity 2019.4.1f1 2. its not the hub , it is unity engine. 3. its an existing project, i've been working on it from last 10 months. 4. unity editor had stopped working , we will now try to find a fix for the crash. please wait.. Status: there is no fix available. please report a bug, and then report window pops up.
unity is actually opening now , main menu scene and selection scene is working fine . but whenever i try to open gameplay scene unity crashes with point 4 detail.
i hope this detail will give you some idea . thanks again for the response .
Thanks for the details. What happens when you try to create a new project? does it work crash in the same way?
