Using Npgsql.dll with Unity 2021 and pgAdmin4
I try to use the Npgsql.dll to connect to a postgres Database using pgAdmin4. My Problem is, that i don't find a Npgsql.dll, that works with Unity 2021.1.12. The error I get when I paste the .dll to the plugin folder is:
Assets\Scripts\Database.cs(19,29): error CS1705: Assembly 'Npgsql' with identity 'Npgsql, Version=5.0.7.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=5d8b90d52f46fda7' uses 'System.Runtime, Version=5.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' which has a higher version than referenced assembly 'System.Runtime' with identity 'System.Runtime, Version=4.1.2.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a'
With older Npgsql versions there is a bug with the password:
NpgsqlException: Only AuthenticationClearTextPassword and AuthenticationMD5Password supported for now. Received: 10
As I know it should work with an actual version of the library, does anyone know how to get the new Npgsql.dll versions to work?
