Are shadow projections dynamic?
Hey guys, so ive been doing some research on unity answers on dynamic shadows in Unity and ive seen this post on shadow projections should be used instead... http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/8072/how-to-get-dynamic-shadows-in-unity.html. However im not really understanding whether shadow projections are dynamic or not from this post or others on the same subject. Can anyone make this clearer for me.
Thanks in advance.

The answer you linked to is very out of date. Unity Free has supported dynamic hard shadows from a single directional light source since at least version 4.2. Just put a directional light in your scene, set the appropriate materials to cast/receive shadows and that's it. Shadow projectors are simpler and faster because they don't really consider any true lighting calculations (the direction or intensity of light source or the shape of the shadow caster) - they simply project a blob onto the ground to approximate the effect of a shadow.
Dynamic (hard) shadows on left. Shadow projector on right.
@tanoshimi. Thank you for that very descriptive answer. It was a very good response :D

It is good for plane. But you can`t use in curved terrain. And it can`t use for multi shadow blending.
