Deform 2D Mesh Made With Marching Squares
Hey, i have a mesh created with Marching Squares, based on Sebastian Lagues videos on Youtube. I am beginning to understand how it was made, but want to implement destructible terrain. How should i approach this? Edit the active value of the point and rerun the algorithm then completely regenerate the mesh? Or just do Unity mesh manipulation? I have tried to remove the active point, but its incredibly laggy. I don't have a chunk system in place but the map is fairly tiny.
Any help on how to approach this would be appreciated.
Thanks, Ian
