Leaves appear floating in tree creator

Question

Hi, when I want to add leaves to my branches on my tree in the tree creator, and add a material to them, they appear as if they were floating over or under the branches. As if the leaf was attached to the branch by it's tip and not it's base. How to I get them to be "straight" and not upside down?

i am haven the same problem using unity3d 4.. no matter what i tried i can't get them to stop floating on the branches... i tried editing the texture pics and all i can think of but yet to get them to stop floating off or under the branches.. and some of the branches are turned the wrong way for some odd reason..
