can unity track printer documents?

Hey all, I'm needing to keep track of how many documents has been printed by a printer so I can make a notification to tell me to change the print media. I've got the email notification part working but cannot seem to find any ideas on how to get unity to count printer documents... Does anyone have any ideas?
